Corrine White, MFT

Many of us are hurting for many different reasons. Some may come from a broken family, experience financial burdens, have medical problems, have lost loved ones, or are stressed from perfectionism. Children experience adjustment difficulties, behavioral issues, and trauma; Adolescents: new hormones, bullying, depression, identity struggles, peer pressure, and fears of the future; Adults: relational conflict, family conflict, financial hardships, prejudices, discrimination, and difficult life changes. What most of us have in common is that we want to feel good about ourselves, needed, and belonged.

I’m a dependently Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT). I received my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University in Portland, OR. I’ve provided psychotherapy, couples therapy, and family therapy for approximately 8 years. I work collaboratively with individuals, families, & couples using a holistic approach to develop or heal emotionally fulfilling attachments, which are essential to a person’s mental, physical, biological, communal, & spiritual growth. Using a systemic lens, we address child or adult trauma, difficult life changes, & relational conflict. I work collaboratively and systemically with you to explore how past relationships and life experiences influence current emotional, behavioral and spiritual patterns which cause conflict, distortion, dysfunction, and disconnection. Together we identify and alter those dysfunctional patterns that are no longer working, and transform these into positive relational patterns and ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving.

With a warm approach, I want my clients to always feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I will aim to help you find relief, a newfound confidence, and feel empowered in your life and relationships so that you can move forward with a renewed sense of well being. Every being has intrinsic worth endowed by the Creator that never diminishes. My promise is to treat you with respect, earn your trust, and work together as a team. I will help you gain insight, learn practical skills to help you cope, and ultimately find genuine healing within yourself, in your relationships, and with God.
