Pam Quarles, LPC, LICDC

Pam Quarles is a licensed Professional Counselor, LPC and a licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, LICDC. Pam received her undergraduate degree from Fisk University and completed graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health counseling at Walden University. Pam’s focus has been with adults, youth, families, and couples, working with a variety of populations and treatment areas that include individual, and group therapy, as well as residential, acute care and outpatient treatment group formats. Pam has experience with working in behavioral health centers, youth village homes, and school settings. She also has experience with trauma and addiction therapy. Pam developed strengths from working as a mentor to many students and gained knowledge that spearheaded the passion to learn evidence based theories and interventions, to support being a part of the change that she wants to see in the world.  

Pam has spearheaded counseling programs that serve multiple community needs. Pam works to meet the needs of clients by meeting them where they are in their journey to be happy and healthy. Pam has developed experience to support clients in seeking a balanced lifestyle that allows them to develop and use coping and problem solving skills that support independent life skills. Pam introduces clients to treatment interventions or therapy modalities that include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance therapy, family systems therapy, motivational interviewing, crisis resolution, stress reduction, exposure and reality therapy. Pam seeks to assist clients with gaining control of their lives with use of emotional regulation and intentional healthy decision making to discover “Your Best You”. 

Pam is  passionate about community volunteer ventures such as Habitat for Humanity and Paint the Town, as opportunities to give back grassroots and partake in community improvements. Pam enjoys skating, parasailing, snow tubing, DIY projects, Nascar races and travel.
