Danielle Williamson LISW-S, CTP is an independently licensed master’s level social worker licensed through the state of Ohio. Danielle is a certified trauma practitioner and trainer through STAR Global Network and a certified Seven Challenges Advance Leader for substance use disorders.
As a trauma therapist Danielle provides trauma assessment and trauma informed care, and resilience focused interventions to clients using evidence based practice including SITCAP (Structured Sensory Interventions for Traumatized Children, Adolescents, and Parents). SITCAP is a unique approach to trauma treatment that provides the client with the opportunity to safely rework past trauma using the sensory memory. This treatment allows for trauma symptoms to be reduced and resilience to be developed and strengthened.
Danielle has a diverse work experience and has expertise in providing mental health and substance abuse treatment to children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience providing therapy to individuals, couples and families by incorporating evidence based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of those she serves.
Danielle grew up in a small town in Defiance, Ohio and moved to the Cincinnati area six years ago. She earned her master’s degree in Social work from The Ohio State University. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets.
