Erica Stauffer is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Designation in the state of Ohio who enjoys working with youth and their families. Erica utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Informed Care approaches. She is currently a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional whom has assisted her youth clients in processing and understanding their trauma and helping them live a more fulfilling life. Erica strives to help youth rebuild their lives after trauma while encouraging the youth to show how resilient they can be.
Erica is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and obtained her bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology at Robert Morris University. For her master’s degree, she landed in Dayton, Ohio at Wright State University where she received her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Erica has been in the field of counseling for nearly ten years and has continued to grow her passion for working with children every single day. She has worked in various settings in the mental health field including working as a School Based Therapist in an Emotional Disturbed (ED) Unit and an Outpatient Therapist in a Community Mental Agency. Erica loves to help her clients develop the tools needed to grow into successful young adults.
Outside of being a mental health therapist, Erica enjoys taking hikes with her dog, Luna, and traveling. She hopes to see more of the world one day!
