Originally from Dayton, Ohio, I’ve spent over a decade traveling, living, and working all over the world. I’m a first-generation Indian-American woman. As the child of two immigrant parents, I have spent time understanding the construct of identity as it relates to self-acceptance, self- worth, and self-actualization. These themes are not only core to the self, but also integral parts of our interpersonal relationships - partners, children, friends, and communities.
I completed a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Dayton and am in the process of completing an M.A. in Counseling Psychology at Sofia University. In between I have spent time in a variety of professional environments from large corporations to start ups; product development to sales and marketing; as well as co-founding two companies of my own. My choice to become a therapist is based on my personal experience with therapy as well as my belief that everyone has the potential to uncover and enjoy their authentic selves.
I have been an endurance coach, group fitness instructor and personal trainer for over fifteen years. I have helped countless clients achieve their objectives, not only through exercise, but more importantly through self-awareness, mindset, and commitment. Therapy differs in its practical application, but shares some similarities in moving out of fear, and into love and trust. As a therapist, it’s my goal to create a safe place for you to show up honestly, with vulnerability, and with the potential for great transformation.
