Amanda Stayton, LPCC-S

Amanda Stayton is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. She earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. She has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in both outpatient mental health and day treatment program settings. Amanda has had training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR, and Non-Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention. 

Amanda utilizes a supportive and trauma-informed approach when working with clients. She believes that people, especially children, are incredibly resilient and can overcome many challenges when provided with a safe, supportive environment and the tools to do so. Amanda meets clients where they are at and will employ a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques to best meet their needs. She is committed to helping clients become the best version of themselves they can be.

When not working, Amanda keeps busy with her family and friends. She enjoys reading, learning new things, and spending time with her husband, children, and pets.
