Whitney Ruble is a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor in the state of Ohio and Kentucky. Whitney has served families,children, and adults for the past 16 years in many capacities including mental health therapy, crisis management, developmental disabilities, school based services, homelessness and community care in non profits and private practice.
She obtained her Bachelor’s of Social Work from Wright State University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. Whitney is trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Trauma Responsive Care,Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
With a compassionate and practical approach, Whitney meets clients where they are to assist with coping with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, school related issues, stress, and life transitions. Whitney utilizes solution focused and CBT Therapy, and often utilizes trauma responsive care to help build emotional awareness, resilience, and healthy coping skills, in a supportive space where meaningful change can happen. The goal is always a more balanced, confident, and more fulfilling life.
Outside of work, Whitney enjoys spending time with her partner and kids, watching sports, being in nature, and operating her event business. She is passionate about macro policy change in the social work field, and advocating for children’s mental health.
