Olivia Carroll, MSW, LSW

Olivia is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio who specializes in treating trauma and stressor-related disorders and dissociative disorders in adults. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and has training and experience in treating grief, PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders in school-based, intensive in-home, and outpatient settings.

We all experience trauma at some point in our lives, whether it is acute or chronic, and it can show up in our lives in many different ways, such as nightmares, relationship problems, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, anger management issues, dissociation, and dissociative disorders. Olivia creates a safe, non-judgemental, and relaxing atmosphere for her clients and offers a holistic, evidence-based, and highly personalized approach. Olivia is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral (TF-CBT) therapy and has advanced training in using EMDR to treat dissociative disorders. Olivia also integrates attachment theory, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, existentialism, and somatic techniques, and loves to add creativity and humor into her work.

In her free time, Olivia enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her cat, Winnie. She is also always working on a puzzle and at least one DIY project.
