John Looney joined our Behavioral Health Department in October 2023. John is an LPC who holds an associate of arts degree from Clark State College and a bachelor of arts and master of science from Wright State University. Prior to working at Catalyst, he was employed at Rocking Horse Community Health Center. John was born in Urbana, Ohio and currently resides in Urbana. Professionally, John is trained in EMDR levels 1 and 11. Additionally, John plans to continue pursuing his licensure for his LPCC and so on. Personally, John enjoys muscle cars, movies, video games, concerts, comedians, vacations and trying new things. John stated that the most enjoyable aspect of his work at Catalyst is that he loves the sense of community and passion.
