Kimberly Perros is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio who works with children and their families. She specializes in a Psychodynamic Therapy, Trauma Focus-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Through trained therapeutic interventions, Kimberly helps children address and resolve their own problems by helping them learn healthy ways to manage their emotions, while teaching them how to understand their emotions.
Kimberly has been working in the mental health field since 2008. She is a graduate from Cincinnati Christian University with a (BA, Psychology) and (MA, Counseling). She has worked in a variety of settings such as; hospitals, residential psychiatric units, outpatient drug rehab clinic, homes, and schools. Since 2012 she has been working with child and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Kimberly has a passion for educating parents, teachers and other child professionals in order to help develop successful plans to improve the child's coping abilities and decision making. Kimberly offers the following services: individual counseling, play therapy, group therapy, family counseling, and parenting consultation.
Besides counseling, Kimberly is an active member of the Junior League of Cincinnati, which is women's organization that promotes volunteerism and public service in the community. Also, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son in the downtown Cincinnati area.
